US.-Grand Island Casino held a groundbreaking ceremony in Poner Park, Nebraska, and the groundbreaking ceremony for a $100 million permanent casino resort. It's scheduled to open in 2025.
The venue will include 650 slot machines, 20 table games, and sportsbooks on a 37,000-square-foot casino floor. It will offer four restaurants, including a rooftop dining experience, a show lounge and sports bar, a 116-room boutique hotel, salons and spas, a gift shop, an indoor and outdoor swimming pool and 400 stall parking lots. 슬롯
Grand Island's temporary casino at Poner Park Racecourse opened its sportsbook in August, making it the second most sports betting facility in Nebraska. Elite Sportsbook offers betting kiosks in the draft day region.
Grand Island is the only elite casino in Nebraska. Elite operates four different casinos in Illinois, Iowa and South Dakota.

Elite CEO Dan Kehl said, "We're excited to open a temporary casino, but wait until we can see the amenities that permanent casino resorts offer. We have formed a strong team of local contractors who will partner with us on this project. I'm happy to start this."
Nebraska Racing and Gaming Commission Shane Grekel added, "Poner Park is the driving force behind Nebraska racing and gaming."
Fonner Park CEO Chris Kotulak said, "These new casinos and hotels will stand tall on our campus and serve as a beacon of awareness for the thoroughbred, horseman, and community that will help us learn what Fonner Park is and what it could be in the future."
Nebraska Temporary Casino Incurs $1.58M In Tax In Sept Located in Lincoln, Poner Park, and Columbus, three temporary casinos in Nebraska generated $1.58 in tax revenue for the month of September. These casinos were taxed 20% on $7.91 million in total revenue.
Tax payments were up from $1.55 million in August and $1.54 million in July. Three racetrack casinos are currently open in Nebraska: Grand Island Casino Resort on Grand Island, War Horse Casino in Lincoln, and Haras Columbus NE Racing & Casino.
